I’m a Ph.D. student of Organizational Behavior at Robert H. Smith School of Business – University of Maryland. I earned my master’s degree in Management from Bogazici University, and I studied at METU and UC Berkeley in my undergrad.
I mainly research power and empowerment issues at work from novel angles, specifically, music, multiple leader interactions, and third-party observers. My work has been presented in leading international conferences, such as EURAM, EAWOP, or CMS. I am also a member of the Burnout Assessment Tool Consortium.
In a previous life, I was a strategy and business development manager of Kronnika, working on a specific field of robotic process automation. I also did a radio show for a few years. I enjoy music, traveling, spending time with friends, exercising, and geeking about random stuff. A proud Trekkie.
